International Business Blog #2 Natural Disaster

In 2005, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake happened in Kashmir, Pakistan, killing over 80,000 people. This natural disaster destroyed the Kashmir territory, and damaged the Pakistan economy. Two out of three buildings were brought to the ground, and contaminated the water supply. After the earthquake, seven hundred million dollars of foreign aid was given to Pakistan and other territories affected by the earthquake. Resources such as food, clean water, and medical supplies became very scarce, and disease began to spread quickly.
